Welcome! Man-Zilla is a real identity for today’s man. We believe in equality for all. What does it mean to be a man in our present climate? It’s an ideal facing daily threats from all angles. We’re here to be the reassuring shoulder to lean on, to provide strength in your beliefs, to provide ideas and inspiration for your personality to develop and evolve, and to showcase entertainment and escapism. We’re on your side, and we need you on the journey. Male / Female or other. Join us on our mission by exploring the site and our social media.

What is the Man-Zilla story?

We want Man-Zilla to be a place for reassurance, affirmation and positivity. Without sounding too evangelical, it’s a place where you can feel like you belong, and have crucial life questions answered. Too often men are forgotten about or taken for granted in an ever changing world where identity has become aggressive and fluid. We want to make you stand up tall, and feel happy someone has your back. What it means to be a man isn’t spoken about enough in our eyes, and when it is – it’s often done so apologetically. Our founders feel the brand is a more than just a news site. It’s a portal to provide happiness and solutions to everyday identity issues. A noticeable gap in news provision for our target audience was something we picked up on. And issues regarding our lives are too frequently not being taken seriously. We aim to stand up for the modern, safe, honest, good, hard working guys who believes in the best for this the world. We wish to relieve anxiety and stress through our news and editorial, and tackling important issues without scaremongering or doing our guests down. And lastly we wish to promote escapism and adventure, so we can push our creative boundaries, reset, recharge and ultimately become the best version of ourselves.

Do you feel status weighing down on you?

I think we all do at some point. Weren’t we all supposed to have achieved ‘the dream’ by this point in our lives? Driving the sick car, having the ultimate wife / girlfriend, children, the best job to assert our egos, going on holidays to boast about. Yeah, doesn’t really work out like that does it. Life changes and pulls us in thousands of directions. Everyone’s circumstance is different. DO NOT compare yourself to others. You are your own person, and are going at your own speed through life. Status is an object of the mind, fooling us into thinking we have to adhere by set parameters from those higher up the perceived food chain (parents, teachers, bosses, peers). Don’t listen to them, follow your instincts in what you want to do and become.

Do you feel oppressed for being a man?

Male identity still falls into two separate camps: macho or metrosexual. From a primary sense. Why so binary? If you compare the general experiences and insights into women, it’s a kaleidoscope of ideas and opportunity. We need the same opportunities to express ourselves. It’s been talked about so much about what the number one killer and issue is in young and professional guys. There’s a reason for that. SUPPRESSION. It stops right here with us. We aim to be a vocal supporter and outlet for mens issues, stories and identity. But we also wish to encourage our audience to find their voice and speak up without fear or prejudice, even if it’s controversial or against the grain. It’s all about standing up to be counted in this harsh, brutal and often anti-man world out there. We’ll be addressing this in our broadcasting, events and news coverage.

This is a community based platform where we seek to embolden strong voices on important issues for men. We need your voice. Please contact us if you want to write or present anything you feel relevant for our unique audience.
